The third partnership meeting of the project CAN “Crossborder Air Networking”, which is co-funded by the EU program Adriatic IPA Adriatic Cross-Border Cooperation 2007-2013, took place in Prijedor, on the 15th of November 2013. It was attended by partners from Slovenia, Italy, Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The meeting was held in the premises of the Municipality of Prijedor, where all the partners individually presented their completed activities and procedures in progress. They set dates of the future events that will take place next year.
In collaboration with Aeroklubom Prijedor, Municipality of Prijedor organized a guided tour on the airport Urije, and presented the existing airport infrastructure. Partners could see the grass runway, which measures 1000 x 25 m and two hangars with one private airplane and eight sport aircraft, owned by Aeroclub Prijedor. At the entrance of the airport, another hangar with connecting apron will be constracted within the project CAN.
The partners of the project CAN concluded their gathering by visiting some local attractions, which was organised by representatives of the Municipality Prijedor and a local tourist guide.
